Technical info
Calls that start during one period will be billed on the tariff for the period they started in. For example if you make a free call at ten minutes to 6am on the Evening and weekend calls package and hang up at 15 minutes past 6am, it will still be free.
Maximum of 60 minutes free per call. Charges will start with a connection fee + the remaining minutes if your call exceeds 60 minutes.
Based on BT WLR*(3?), porting to other phone providers or internet providers will still be easy and you get to keep your normal number.
Land Line Terms and Conditions
-*Wholesale Line Rental - BTs price list indicates that BE will be paying BT GBP 94.75 per year per line with a GBP 3.39 migration fee or GBP 47.11 for new installs. Note that these are NOT the prices that BE will be charging customers, BE need to add in the cost of running the service on their side, support costs and - obviously- a bit of profit.
Ordering Process
First, ensure that you are not within a minimum term contract with your current supplier! Migrating within a minimum term contract will result in a nasty bill from your old supplier.
If you are with BT you can check here.
If you are in contract with BT you can work out the cost of leaving them before the end using the information here.
