Postcode Checking is broken..

The BE website is currently having problems checking some postcodes. It incorrectly returns "This information is not available at the moment" rather than the correct information.
If you need to check speed, please use a land line number for the moment.

Outage
Opening Tickets Problem..

There is currently a bug in the new BE website where you are unable to open a ticket if your initial ticket text contains any of the following:

(
)
<

The workaround is to create a blank or nearly blank ticket. Then add the required text as a reply to the now-open ticket.
BE are aware and are working to fix it.

FTTC Trials in Muswell Hill

Problems
Problems with the following sites..

Due to the IWF filter that BE have in-place on their network, the following sites have issues:
www.fileserve.com - No page load or "You need to wait 600 seconds to start another download."
hotfile.com - "Too many failed attemtps to login from this IP address." complete with typo, "503 - Service Not Available" or absolutely no response.
sharingmatrix.com - Looping "10 minute" wait count down or "An Error Occurred".
uploading.com - "Sorry, you have reached your daily download limit."
If you are experiencing problems with these sites please raise a ticket about it with BE and also comment on the forum thread.
If you think another site (not listed above) is having problems due to the IWF filter then please also post on the BE forum thread above.
Until recently we had a checker where you could investigate if this was the case yourself but we were told to take it offline : (
